More South Beach

A few more pictures of and around Miami's South Beach. The bottom two pictures were taken specifically to add to my photo collection of hydrants and locks.

Morning on South Beach

Danielle and I went to Miami's South Beach on Friday and Saturday. These shots are from Saturday morning. The first two are before the sun came up. The next four show the sun coming up and right after it came up. The last two pictures were taken while experimenting with the exposure time on the camera.

Some Macro Shots

The three macro shots below were inspired to a group I belong to on Flickr called "Nine". The object of the group is to take pictures of numbers. But not just any number! It has to be a 'nine number'. In order for the number to be a 'nine number', all the numbers have to add up to nine. For example, the shot of the penny below shows the year 1962. Take all four of those numbers and add them together: 1+9+6+2=18. Since the answer is two or more digits, you again add those together. In this case, 1+8=9. Therefore, 1962 is a 'nine number'.

Name Change

I have decided to make a slight change to the title of this blog. Since I mostly use this blog to post pictures, I added the word "Photo" to the title.
