City of Palms Park
City of Palms Park (in Fort Myers, Florida) is where the Boston Red Sox plays their Spring Training games. Lee County just fought a tough battle (and won!) to keep the Red Sox in the area for several more years. One of the main things the Red Sox was looking for is a new stadium similar to Fenway Park, including a Green Monster. So now Lee County is searching for an area for which to build the new stadium.
(Update, Dec 24th, 2008: I bought tickets for two of the Spring Training games in the upcoming season. Tickets went very fast, but I was able to find a few decent seats a day after the tickets went on sale. Some people camped out in line for a few days to get tickets. I think the ones waiting a few days were trying to mainly get Yankees tickets.)
