J.N. Ding Darling NWR
On Monday morning, after just a couple hours of sleep, we got up and headed out to Sanibel Island to visit the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge. There are usually a tons of birds and other wildlife in this area. However, we didn't see too many on this visit, which was my first time there. Most of the picture I took were with the film camera, but I did snap a few digital ones to share with you.
Tarpon Bay is a body of salt water just off of the Gulf of Mexico.
Great Blue Heron

It's crazy to think that we share the same gulf because ours is so filthy whereas yours is so blue. I loved visiting Florida.
